Connotation Checker, Question 4

"Do you have any suggestions or comments on the Connotation Checker?" (selected anonymous responses)

Outstanding concept! Please get this tool finished and out there for us to buy, whether bundled in Word or a separate software product. I would pay quite a bit for this, because it would save me many hours a month of tedious mental effort.
This would be invaluable as an add-on to word processing packages.
... Very helpful to me as an amateur poet/writer. Thanks for your creativity in evolving these references. If you have not started putting them out on the market - don't stop! I want all of them ...
Technical writers (like me) could use a tool like this to make instructional writing more involving for the reader.
Definitely should be a feature of Word.
This would save me a lot of editing time.
I think some people might find this tool threatening to personal writing style, but I think that, used intelligently, it would provide much valuable insight for any writer.
Very useful for creative writing of all sorts, go for it, do it!!
Perhaps it could be part of a word processor, but I don't know enough about the size of the program - if it would make it prohibitively large. Otherwise, yes; it would bring a new tool for generating more effective communication overall - personal and business.
Smart concept. I would use it all the time.
A valuable tool for anyone trying to reach a wide audience!
I think this tool would encourage imaginative writing.
This product has huge sales potential with your writer's market. However, until its efficacy is proved it must be very affordable.
I think this would help expand my horizons as a creative writer if it nagged me to stop using unimaginative diction.
Boy I wish I had it right now when I need it. Hopefully it will come out before I finish my college class.
What an original idea and completely useful. I really want to get this when you have it available. I will keep an eye on this web site.
I would consider this a valuable tool. It would be like having my work critiqued by other people.
A natural for MS Word. Think you can get Bill Gates to listen? Good luck! Just get it out independently if you have to, ‘cause I want it!
More useful than spell check, that's for sure.
When can I get it?
This sounds like a brilliant idea! I want one....
Fantastic, extremely practical
I think this would be a technical challenge but there are a lot of smart programmers around and it sounds to me like you know how you would go about it. I think you’ve got a real winner here.
I use WordPerfect, so I hope you let them have it, not just Microsoft Word. I would hate to have to switch word processors just to use this feature, but probably would.
Great idea
Would be good to have this function built into Microsoft Word but i'd get it even if you only had it as a CD
I'd like to try it ... test it with some of my typical readers. If it really works, then I'd be happy to pay more for it. If it's not spot on, then as a useful extra tool, then under £30 would be fine.
Scary…I think this would get some bad writers to either improve or get out of the game. How will we know when it's available to buy?
Get MS Word to build it in
"Emotion Check"
Who would have thought it possible to scan for emotional meaning? You are getting close to artificial intelligence with this concept – I sure would like to have this.
Could this work with songwriting?
Should be a price that the majority of people can afford.
I don't see how you are going to program this...
Very helpful in finding out how your writing affects all the people around you. Would be a great form of criticism . . . I would enjoy having it available for my audiences.
Good, good
Great tool for advertising text research
I could see a real use for this when writing papers etc.
This would seem to eliminate jobs (ie: editors of media-based projects, etc.)
I'd run my e_mail thorugh this before sending it off.
I write administrative stuff mainly, which is usually pretty dull, but I would use this product to spice it up and make it more interesting
Make it a word processing feature.
Really interesting, hope it works.
