Emotional Product/Business Namer, Question 4

"Do you have any suggestions or comments on the Emotional Product/Business Namer?" (selected anonymous responses)

This is a powerful tool, and one with a potentially significant impact on an entrepreneur's new business venture. It would be worth the investment, and foolish not to consult it. It is also fodder for the "success" genre of books, seminars, etc.
This is a great idea for anyone involved in advertising or developing a brand.
A new business could have a distinct competitive advantage by giving all its products strong names, right from the start.
This would address an untapped market in the business community.
This would be a very powerful business tool.
Higher price, denoting upper priority.
I'd use this in putting together my PowerPoint presentations.
Interesting and a bit frightening to think what businesses will do with this.
Having chosen a few business names in the past, this would have helped me with my original ideas and added the extra assistance I need to be sure I was conveying the message & tone I wanted to create.
Extremely useful for any company or entrepreneur
The basic version should be targeted to small business owners, who would not deal with agencies. An advanced version should be done for Advertising Agencies who do corporate image work - and then should be priced at a much higher amount.
You might get a dot-com land rush for certain combinations of words.
This would be a very useful marketing tool, and for any type of business presentations.
My wife makes crafts and gives them names. I'd get this for her.
If marketed correctly, this has the potential to be a big seller.
I wonder if big corporations would use this. Small businesses would for sure.
High appeal for the entrepreneur but don't overprice it.
I am so pleased that this area is considered important. Good work!
You should pitch this to corporations, not the general public. They would find this tool indispensable.
Anybody who runs any kind of business could get a huge benefit from using this tool. We are always trying to think up names for new services and items we sell.
I could see using the Product Namer to name poems and short stories. Maybe that's not what you intend it for, but that's how I'd use it. Nothing beats a powerful title!
I wouldn't buy it. However, if I were still working in marketing communications, sometimes with clients who wanted some guidance in their choice of business name, I would.
I don't have a use for this but I know people who would use it for sure.
I think Yahoo and Amazon succeeded partly because of the emotional aspects of their names. People remember names like that, so I think you are on to something here that even the small business person could take advantage of.
Isn't this kind of cheating?
I would certainly use it and desire to have it when I needed to use it. I see this as a valuable tool. Write on!
I hate the idea of being commercially targetted. Its bad enough already. Its different for writers trying to appeal to a more genuine aspect of character, intellect. Businessmen/women trying to exploit the consumer aren't welcome.
Could have used this 2 years ago.
The only reason for buying this would be that I specialize in the area of emotional intelligence.
If you don’t charge thousands for it, I’ll buy it!
What I am looking for.
This could also be sold to such consulting firms (like Landor) whose work would be quicker, but they'd keep charging their hefty fees.
Interesting starter tool for all businesses.
Although I don't have a business myself, I can see how businesses would really benefit from using this.
Sure, give 'em another tool to psych out us poor consumers! Gotta admit, names and packaging do affect buying habits.
Great for advertising & promo agencies
Instead of selling this to ordinary folks & small businesses for small bucks, you could sell it to corporations for big big bucks.
Perfect for my needs in the web site design & promo industry, we always have to come up with catchy names and titles
